Hello,
My name is Dr Natalie Darko, and I am leading the SISTAH Circle Study at the University of Leicester funded by the Wellcome Trust, together with my colleagues Dr Eda Tonga and Dr Esther Moss.
The study explores Black women’s awareness and experiences of breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer, with the aim of developing inclusive and equitable cancer care.
We are inviting Black and mixed Black women (25–65), with or without a cancer diagnosis, to take part in an online survey, interviews, or Yoga-based Sistah Circles in London, Birmingham, and Leicester.
We’d really appreciate your help in sharing the details with anyone who might be interested in taking part. Or if you or your organisation would like to support or work with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Please see below and attached the recruitment posters and a link to the survey for participants. Participants who take part in an interview or focus group will be offered a £30 gift voucher for their time.
